A World of Peace
Titled: Without Racism by Jesse Johnson
Without Racism is a paintings based on a world without racism. In light of all the violence that is in our world often times things can get out of hand from a simple misunderstanding. while in the African American communities, the deaths of our people brings intensity, and anger that tends to leave families and friends along with people all over the world to march and unite against the police brutality and the murdering of blacks. I am also lost for words against black on black crimes as well. I created these pieces of art work because music and dance becomes the universal language of love and peace amongst people in the universe. This part of my body of work have been created to add to my genre of other diversity paintings about racism, equality of life, freedom of expression and the race factor. What if racism didn't exist, would we be a world of love and play? Could we get to the level of understanding one another and embracing each others culture? Can we march all at the beat of one drum? I wanted to give you a look at what I imagine it would look like if racism cease through my art pieces. These beautiful paintings is a mixed medium of oil paints, acrylic and sand on canvas. The 1st painting is about 5ft x 6ft. the 2nd and 3rd painting is about 4ft x 6ft. |
